So I`ve been in Hong Kong for about a month now. I`ve done some shopping, went swimming, had dinner with most of my relatives, and started learning wing tsun (martial arts).

Likes: There`s always somewhere to go and something to do, the food is awesome and cheap, lots of places to shop for the latest fashions, it`s nice and hot, there`s always someone trying to sell you something (they even upsell you at the convenience store! and boy are they aggressive) - i put this in the `like`section cause I`m in marketing. Us American-Canadians are sales-wimps in comparison. And a strong sense of family bond.

Dislikes: Most people worship money, you can`t trust anyone, it can get TOO hot and humid, too crowded in central areas, people work too much. (average college graduate full-time salary is $1200USD per month).

Just an interesting note… The ugly girls are bitchy and the pretty ones are nice. You would think it should be the other way around, but it`s not. The prettier and friendly girls are usually not from Hong Kong (they grew up elsewhere).

I just recovered from a week-long stomach ache and I`m finally getting back to work. I`ve got 3 new sites to be launching in the next 4 weeks. I`ll be going to China in a couple days so we`ll see what happens there.

I just had the priveledge to meet an internet marketing legend.

Fione Tan is a self-made internet marketer who possible is the pioneer for IM in Hong Kong.

She has won awards from the Queen of Malaysia and has been on T.V. interviews on multiple occassions.

She’s got offices in Singapore, Malaysia, China and Hong Kong and has been in the industry for 10+ years.

It’s very inspiring to meet someone who created so much success out of nothing, gives me something to live up to.

I’ve just begun studying the market here, and Fione has given me some insight.

Other than that, I’m getting in really good shape (lifting weights and swimming) and I’m having a ton of fun!

Oh yeah, Fione Tan is cool and sexy!
